In April I am going on an adventure to Mt. Everest Base Camp. I am going with my Dad, Annie (sister), Peter (brother), Ian (brother), and Randy (dad's friend). It is going to be a 18 day trip, with 11 days hiking. We are all very excited, and working hard on getting into (good enough) shape to make it to the camp. This has been a goal of my Dad's for along time, and I am so happy that I am able to be apart of his dream. I am also looking forward to meeting some of the people at base camp, who are going to be attempting the summit. We will be visiting at the peak of the summitting season, so there should be a full camp when we arive.
Can't wait!!
I have never known anyone who gets to do this. Very impressive. I hope I get the T shirt...gail
