We made it to Periche all the way from Gorak Shep. Now that we are headed back we are covering twice the distance. Today was so long. Wow. But it sure is nice coming down to a lower elevation. The place we are in looks really nice and new. We have two more trekking days ahead of us. And our guide Gyanu has admitted to lying to us about how hard or 'easy' the days are going to be. So we are afraid to ask which day of the last three will be the toughest. I know he would say today will be. But I know he lies. He said so himself. So we are all really pooped after today and we know how far we need to go to get back to Lukla. Many many miles to go. Yak yak yak Nepal.
