Yea! We made it!!

Well we made it to base camp after a long hard day. Actually getting to base camp was only half way. We then had to come all the way back to our place. It was a very hard day. I think I say that everyday. But this is the most demanding physically and with the altitude being so high. I can't believe we all made it with so little ill effects if any at all. It was a blessing for sure. I know I have been praying for
good health for months while on this trek.
Anyways. The mountains are very large. No surprise there. We got a bit of snow In the morning. But as we arrived at camp it was sunny for about and hour. So we stayed awhile. I think the glaciers are the most impressive. The khumbu ice field is massive. Now tomorrow we can climb up Kala Pattar if we want to get a better view. That would bring us to 5555 meters above sea level. We say Russel Bryce on the trail for those of you who know who he is. We just sped us as we were leaving camp. He is called the Wyatt Erpe if the himalayas. Very cool. Yay! Now we need to come all the way back down. Oh man it's far.
