We made it to tengbouche today. It was another long hard day. Dad wasn't feeling well again so the guys switched off carrying his pack. He wouldnt have made it otherwise. It is beautiful up here and we went in the monastery to see the monks pray. Interesting. We only stayed about ten minutes. We are all kinds sick of the inscence smells. Our room is warm and small. But it will be nice. Actually it has the softest beds so far. We got alot of good views of the Himalayas. And the trail was steep and windy and very dusty. But we are in high spirits with the bakery down the path. Very yummy chocolate croissants. We had to walk very very slowly in this elevation and take many breaks. But we are here at a little over 3800 meters. Horray! Tomorrow we trek another long day and stop for two nights to acclimatize again. Love you all.
